Just b/c I'm bored and bitter

My bf and I were supposed to go to the beach this weekend.  Last night, he told me that we were not going to the beach, but he was going to the beach without me.  The reason he is going without me is b/c his frat boys (the ones that are rude to me) have decided to go and declared that I was banned from the trip.

My boyfriend sees nothing wrong with this little scenario and he also said that his friends (ie, the idiots) didn't see anything wrong with it either. Of course, they didn't, they're losers who haven't had a date in years! They're great people to take advice from.

I know this poll is ridiculous, but I'm so annoyed and I just want to make sure that I'm not crazy for being upset about it b/c he's certainly making me feel like I am.

*Edited b/c I'm having grammar and spelling issues today.

i do not understand why you are still dating this person.  forgive me for saying so, because i know it's totally rude but...dump him! post haste!

ETA: ok, now that i have read your other post--i think he is baiting you and trying to get you to break up with him (which is not only jerk-like but a completely immature and high-school move).  you seem so sweet and i think you deserve someone who is going to treat you as well as you treat him.

You've heard from me before on this issue, so I'm sure my words will come as no surprise...but Nylabelle, cut him loose. :(

Of course you have every right to be upset - you two made plans together. The boy does NOT treat you with respect. Dont' let yourself continue to be less than a priority to him. *hugs*

your boyfriend should stand up for you!!

What is it about these frat boys and the anti-girl attitude!?  It seems like guys are more likely to be kind of followers and easily persuaded by the group.  They really need to get a backbone, they usually ALL want real girlfriends, they just don't know it until they fall in love.  My husband's frat brothers were just like that, they really ragged on the first one in the group to be in a serious relationship.  That's all over now and the couple eventually married, but I am sure it was hard on the girl getting no support for years from his so-called friends.

I am glad I met my husband when he was 26 because by then most of his frat brothers were already hooked up or married.  I would have never have dated him in his younger years because at that time in his life, dudes were a little too important to him.

Unfornately, my ex is almost 28 (I met him when he was 25) and most of his frat boys still haven't found girlfriends (none of them had girlfriends in college either, except my ex).  My ex is also the first one to talk about wanting to marry someone (me), but the frat boys won't allow it.  I just don't get it.  Shouldn't a true friend want their friend to be happy?

I find it fascinating that 39 people voted in this poll and it came out absolutely unanimous.  Not one person felt differently than the rest of the group.  I think that is definitely a sign that you did the right thing.

I agree on both counts.  I don't think I've ever seen a completely unanimous poll with that many votes on this forum!
