It DOES work!  I swear by it.  I always ask my waxer to put it on my bikini area immediately after she waxes me.  That is how it works the best.  It burns a little - but honestly not bad.  After she puts the tend skin on my newly waxed skin, she uses some kind of lavender oil that helps soothe the irritation.  So, I think that is a winning combo.

Also, you have to use tend skin religiously (I use it everyday after my shower when my pores are open).  If you do, your ingrowns will be gone!  (As you can see - I am a fan of tend skin.)

I usually buy it directly through my waxer, but Sephora carries it as well:

I bought it on eBay for cheap (about 50% off) and got a big bottle.  I LOVE it.  I know you can make your own using aspirin or something, but this is just easier and my $16 bottle has lasted me almost 2 years!  It does work but sometimes i forget to use it for weeks at a time.  Once I start using it again, I see results in about 5 days, most of my ingrowns are gone. It keeps your skin exfoliated so it starts to peel and flake after time if you use too much, but i guess you could just keep moisturizing the area.  Anyway, I recommend it!

It burns a little but it is tolerable.  I think using Certain Dri is much worse (deoderant that itches like crazy).  You don't have to put Tendskin on directly after you shave or wax, you can, but you don't have to.  I use it morning and night, shower or not.  However, I DO think its kind of a ripoff- that might be another reason they don't like it there.  But its worth it to me.  You should get a sample from Sephora, they can pour you some in a little container and you can try it.

I love Tend Skin more than any other product I own.  I get horrible, horrible ingrown hairs from both shaving and waxing.  The ingrown hairs are very deep and take months to heal if left to there own devices.  They are almost like cysts that I can feel under the skin, but the are so deep they can't be tweezed out.  I also get horrible bruising if I try the "self surgery".

Tend Skin has worked miracles for me.  I use it every day for about a week after I get waxed and then I cut down to every other day because it dries out my skin.  My bikini line looks great now.

I usually by it on ebay.

Just a tip to get it to last longer, I poured my bottle into an empty travel spray bottle, and it lasted far longer than when I was applying it with a cotton pad. (I do my toner like this now too, and LOVE it).

I do like tend skin, but lately my sister has been swearing by some oxy-like pads from Bliss (she had previously been using tend skin). I may try them out when the tend skin is gone.
