Recipe Summary
Prep Time: 5 hours 45 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 1 pie

1 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup shaved semisweet chocolate
Peanut butter filling, recipe follows

Peanut Butter Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup cream, whipped
1-ounce semisweet chocolate for shaving on top

Combine the peanuts, graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter in a bowl and pat down into a pie pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes to toast slightly. As soon as it comes out of the oven, sprinkle the crust bottom with the shaved chocolate and set aside. It should melt in, then set up later.

Peanut Butter Filling: Using mixer with a paddle attachment, cream together the cream cheese, peanut butter, milk and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, about 1 1/2 minutes. Fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture and pour it into the pie shell. Freeze for 4 to 5 hours. Two hours before serving place pie in the refrigerator. Shave chocolate over the top just before serving.

You should go to foodnetwork.com

In the search engine put "peanut butter" and they have plenty of recipes that you can do.

oh you are the devil!!!  i just thought about MY ALL TIME FAVORITE DESSERT.  my mom has to make four pans of this when our family gets together.  i don't have a 'recipe' but you just kinda eyeball it, it's so easy and takes NO TIME.  for some reason boys like it the most, my brother, my bf, my dad....

you'll need four things:

ONE TUB peanut butter,

TWO BAGS chocolate chips,

rice krispie cereal

vanilla ice cream.

To Make:

1) melt the peanut butter and chocolate together.  i want to say a half thing of peanut butter and one whole bags of chocolate chips (it should look chocolatey/tan).

2) stir in rice krispie cereal

3) take the cereal/peanut butter/chocolate mix and spread it on a flat pan (just barely covering the surface...you don't need a thick layer at all)

4) freeze for a bit (15 minutes max)

5) spread a layer of vanilla ice cream (you might want to leave the ice cream out for a couple of minutes to soften it)

6) repeat steps 1-3, freeze again

7) it will be a layer of peanut butter/chocolate rice krispie, layer of vanilla ice cream, layer of peanut butter/chocolate/rice krispie.....SANDWICH!!!

IT CONTAINS ALL MY FAVORITE THINGS:  CHOCOLATE, PEANUT BUTTER, RICE KRISPIES, ICE CREAM

on that note, i'm going to the gym, NOT the grocery store!

YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT THOUGH, EVERYONE LOVES IT!!!

These are heavenly.  Just like a reese's cup but better.

Ingredients:

1 cup peanut butter (smooth)

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup chopped nuts

1 tbsp butter

roll above ingredients into balls (about 1 inch around) and freeze (on cookie sheet on wax paper) up to 1 hour

Melt in a bowl:

chocolate disc candy (you get at a party store - cooking chocolate I'll get proper name for you)

dip frozen balls into chocolate (cover all areas of the ball) and place on wax paper to set

Eat now or freeze again and eat cold later.  Either way tastes great.

this is a great non-dairy recipe. (are there vegans here? i know there are quite a few vegetarians) agar flakes can be found in your local health food store. they are used to replace gelatin. this is from one of my favorite cookbooks, the uncheese cookbook. i actually just made this this morning and i am trying to scrape any last bit of batter i can get out of the bowl. (thank goodness no one can see me!)

peanut butter fudge pie

graham cracker pie crust
1 1/3 c water
3 tbs agar flakes
3/4 c firm silken tofu, drained and mashed
1 1/4 c pure maple syrup
1/2 c natural, unsweetened peanut butter
1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt

place the water and agar flakes in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often. pour into a blender along with the remaining ingredients and process for several minutes until completely smooth.

pour the filling into the cooled pie shell. refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving. (best served when thoroughly chilled)
