The Cherry Festival! Yay!!!!! Oh the cherry pies and boutique sales that Jen will indulge in! I have to work Saturday, but I will literally quit if they do not let me have it off. Cherries mean that much to me. Will I see any of you there?
I am thinking about going. My parents leave this weekend to go out of town. They need a ride to the airport. They are probably going to get a car service, so I won't have to take them to Detroit, but I don't know yet.

I went last year and on the main road in town there are many cute little shops with lots of nice clothes. Also, there's a fair type thing with rides and lots of cherry jams, cherry pies, fresh cherries, cherry bread....you get the idea. The city is just so pretty, it's fun.
Here's an extremely large picture of the view. (they do little airplane shows too)
this is kinda cheesy, but i met my bf in oct. on a break from school. well, we didn't really hit it off in oct. but built a relationship over the phone. in jan. i finally got to see him again, after talking to him on the phone, exchanging e-mails and growing a rather large crush on him..there's a point to this....
when i flew to chicago in jan. that night we drove up to traverse city (after much anticipation of seeing eachother again). we went to wineries, etc... and all the wineries had cherry-flavored salsas, etc..then we went to a bar and this guy had a cherry festival shirt so i asked and he told us about it. since then i have ALWAYS wanted to go for the festival. that, and that's where i fell in love with him. CHEESE BALL. I KNOW. so anyways, i'm kinda jealous of you.
