What to wear with this skirt?

I brought a two-tone, a lil' past the knees skirt (lavender and like a dk. purple), and now I'm not quite sure what to wear with it (top/accessories/shoes). I had an idea, but I'd like to see what you ladies come up with. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

It's hard to say w/o a picture, but I'd definitely start by saying it should prob be a plain, white top since the bottom is a vivid color.  I think it would be okay if the top had some embellishments of some sort, but not too much.  Like this, only not chiffon:

Oh my gosh, how funny, I was gonna wear that skirt w/a cute white top, I'm sure I have one at home w/embellishments. LOL Thanks, MissMee.
