I have Mystic Tan sprayed on once a week (usually only lasts about 3-4 days) and I use Jergens Natural Glow each day.  This preserves the Mystic Tan and adds a little more color.  Thought I'd share my new trick!

Oooh, I have been wanting to try Mystic Tan but the closest place is 40 minutes away.  I am going to visit my parents two weeks from now and they have one of those places nearby.  Has anybody with very fair skin tried this?  I can't tan naturally, so I am too white to wear shorts and skirts which I very much would like to wear!  I just don't want to be orange.

I am very fair skinned and I did mystic tan last summer and loved it.  It turned out great for me, I got a nice brown color and it looked great. I wasn't orange at all.  It worked far better than any self tanner I've ever used.  I'd definitely give it a try if i were you.

I'm very fair and tried the Mystic tan last summer. The color was okay (slightly orangey, but not too bad). My problem with it was the smell. It seems to affect everyone differently based on your body chemistry, but for me it was awful. I smelled like burnt toast for about a week until the color faded away.

So does applying the JNG help to keep the MT from streaking as it fades away? That's my only beef with the MT. I get them anyway but I always feel like I have to scrub after a couple days so weird parts don't keep color where other parts don't. But maybe the lotion w/ color from JNG solve that problem?

I'm pretty fair also and usually only burn in the sun.  The Mystic Tan works great for me! With the Mystic Tan your supposed to keep your skin moisturized so the JNG helps do this plus adds a little extra color!
