I met with Dot, Honey, and Lilykind this past week and had a wonderful time in NYC. Honey and Lilykind and I had lunch on Monday, then Lilykind and I went shopping at H&M (poor Honey had to go back to work - darn!). Tuesday I met Dot for lunch and then diid more shopping with my oh-so-patient husband that afternoon.

All three NY girls (Lilykind I know you're in L.A. now, but you have the heart & soul of a New Yorker) gave me great advice on where to go, what to do, and I enjoyed meeting each of you. Thanks for helping make my trip even better. I love the energy and excitement of your city and can't wait to go back!

My shopping haul: three sweaters (don't ask why I'm buying sweaters in June!), one tank, one pair of pants, one brooch, one pair of shoes, and a really, really cute purse from a Canal Street vendor. The next time I go I told my husband - forget shoes, I'm bringing an extra bag just for purse shopping! Now I know why all the NY girls have such fabulous purses out on the streets...I'm jealous.

Thanks for all your help ladies, and I really had fun getting to know y'all a little bit.
