Blue Jean/Denim

I'm rather ashamed to ask, but is denim (not jeans/skirts/jackets) still "in"? Like blue jean or denim dresses, even shoes??? LOL I was going thru my closet last night, and ran across a couple of blue jean (denim) dresses, and of course skirt sets, but are they still OK to wear??? If not, they will be going to Goodwill; not that I live in the most trendiest state of Texas, but we do OK from time to time. LOL Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think it depends on what style of dress you're talking about.  Shirt dresses (as in the belted variety) can be cool and don't necessarily have to be worn as a dress. You can wear them open over a cami and trousers for a funkier look.  You could also do it with a racerback tank, linen drawstring pants and cool flat sandals for a casual look.

But if we're talking denim jumper style dresses, I think those should probably take a ride to Goodwill.

THANKS, NYLA, I appreciate your help, and suggestions. Do you think it'd be OK to keep the skirt sets, or no? I think three of those blue jean dresses are not fully blue jean, like maybe the upper part is blue jean/denim, and the other part is some other material. (trying to visualize my closet now). LOL I think I have ONE full blue jean dress, and I haven't worn it in FOREVER, so....LOL

Hmmm...if they are what I'm picturing, I would take them to Goodwill.  I'm picturing the jumper style with the drop waist and possibly some buttons going down the front.  Goodwill is calling for those.    And it will give you an excuse to go buy some new dresses!
