I think it looks cute on you, but you might want to find a strapless bra you can stick some fake boobies into. I have to do that to make me look less boyish on top. And you should probably wear something more fitted on bottom since the top is billowy. I think we are our toughest critic.

I feel the same way you do when I look at myself. I was at a wedding a couple of weekends ago and felt great. I thought I looked smashing. Then my sis's bf started taking digital pics of us.

I wanted to crawl under a rock after I saw my fat face in the pics.

And I can't really see the bottoms, but I bet that top would look really great with jeans, too.

i think it looks cute. i do agree with the suggestion for more fitted pants, though.

you don't look like a blob at all- I think it's a really cute top! I do agree with wearing slimmer/ more streamlined bottoms to balance the look though...otherwise it might look like PJs. Alos, have you tries putting a belt around the shirt (where it has that elastic bit)? It might look cute that way too, just for a change in look.

I think the same thing about self-photos. They always make my hips look waaaaay bigger than I actually think they are. It's horrible.

i am going through a slight depression over the same thing - I wore THE CUTEST outfit on Friday night to dinner for my DH birthday, his mom took pixs of us & I looked like a TOTAL cow!!! I had put a lot of thought into planning this outfit & thought it was so chic, come to find out I was just awful.

I think your shirt is cute, although i do agree with slim bottoms - don't be too hard on yourself, I also agree that we are our own worst critics.

I think we are all much more critical of ourselves and cameras are mean. Why do you think fashion magazines spend so much time digitally altering the photographs of the models in them? We can't compare ourselves to what we see in magazines because what we are looking at isn't even real.

Sadly, I AM wearing a strapless in this photo. lol...

The shirt is actually like a huge tent, long too. It has a string you tie around, which you can't see, since the excess fabric is covering it.

Thanks for everyone's comments, I'll try it with a fitted bottom.

Do you have any fake boobs in it? Trust me - that helps. I bought "Take Outs" which come in a little Chinese take out container and come w/ instructions on where to place them depending on the look you're going for. VS also have some little cutlets, but I like the Take Outs more. I go from dents to boobs!

Oh, and just a thought: put one of those leather disc belts around the drawstring part for a hippie look, if you're into that. Or maybe one of those long scarfs that are all over the place cough*gap*cough

I think it's just the pics, although I don't think it's a terrible pic at all. we all have problems with pictures, where we're like, "do I REALLY look like that?" and you really don't, because a photo is a two-dimensional representation of three-dimensional you.

it is a cute top :)

OMG ... I thought it was just me... whew! I think YOU look great, however I look at my own pictures and think 'uck'. I always think I look heavier in pictures (I wear a pretty true 8, sometimes a 10 to get the length).

Guess we all have the same worries!

VS also has a great bra (Very Sexy collection) with clear straps - you can definitely get some boobs with it too!
