Is this shirt at J Crew really $495????

It's cute, but like $50 cute, not $495 cute.  And since when was J Crew so expensive?

Oh yeah, I saw that in my catalog.  It's so spendy because it's hand beaded by "renowned couture beaders", or so it says.  For all I know it could have been done by children overseas in sweatshops.  I wonder how much of those they have actually sold.

whoa. this one is $595. when I go to J. Crew, I usually expect to pay less than $100 on any one item. And they are usually way cuter than this stuff.
