J Crew dressing rooms
Permalink Closed

I went to a nearby J Crew today and tried some things on.  The dressing rooms actually have a switch where you can change the lighting in the room so you can see what your outfit will look like at night or during the day.  I just thought that was really cool.  I wonder if it has been like that for a while.  It isn't really easy to notice.

I was just in the JCREW dressing room yesterday and noticed the same thing... I was thinking the exact same thing..."have they always had this and I just didn't notice it?".  Anyway, I agree it is a cool idea.  I must admit, I like how I look in the NIGHT lighting much better!

I also like that they are doing the whole "would you like a soda or some water" in the dressing room now.  Maybe they have always done this in some JCREWs, but in the JCREWs where I lived previously, they didn't offer this service.

whoa, that's so cool!  i just went to j. crew last friday and didn't notice the special lighting options.  if you're in the market for a cardigan, their featherweight cardigan is so soft and comfortable, and a good weight for cooler summer days.

Are they doing that at the outlet ones too?  I don't have a regular J Crew store near me.  If I was being served something to drink, I may feel more obligated to purchase something!

Not sure if they are doing drinks in outlet, but I would guess not.  When I lived in KC I was never offered a drink, but I was in a very nice shopping center in Atlanta, so maybe it is just that specific J Crew.  Dunno... I DID have a huge amount of clothing in the dressing room with me... so maybe that was it (I didn't buy anything though!).

On another note, I agree about the feather weight cardigans.  They are sooooooooo soft and the perfect "summer/spring" sweater.

At one of the J. Crews I went to not too long ago, they offered me water and animal crackers. So awesome.
