I know a few people have Jocasi bags.  How do you like them?  Are they good quality?  I was wondering because I need a new black bag and I'm drawn to this one.

I bought & wasn't too impressed with:

I like the size, but it doesn't fit well on my shoulder (photo is a bit misleading b/c straps are too shallow & cut into the underarm area) & needs to be carried on my forearm instead.  Leather quality isn't stellar & upon inspection, I discovered a "Ram Leather" stamp inside the bag.  It's quite durable, but not as supple as I anticipated.

I'll probably keep my bag b/c the size is good for work & something I'd use for travel.  Keep in mind, however, that the leather isn't as buttery as the photo appears.  I'd hate for you to be disappointed.

Good luck!

Thanks Kealoha.  I ordered because I found a code for 25% off at luvcharlie.com.  I'm sorry that you're not impressed with yours.  It's a very cute bag though.

While Jocasi is fairly inexpensive, it's still too much to pay for something that's poor quality.  I'm a bit worried about the leather being too shiny and the hardware looking cheap.  Sometimes it's so hard to tell without seeing something IRL.  I guess if I'm disappointed I'll just send it back.  There's also an Isabella Fiore one I'm looking at (I just liked the price of this one much better).  Thanks again!

I hope you enjoy your bag.  I ordered from luvcharlie as well, & found their CS to be great.  If you aren't satisfied w/your purchase, you need to return it w/in 14 days of ordering.  I've got to decide by this afternoon & ship out tomorrow in order to get a refund.  I agree w/you about the price--not bad, but a little too pricey for a bag that's not the best quality.  I think the leather used on my bag might be what they use for a belt, which is a better match for the use.

Keep me posted when it lands.

i posted a mini-review of mine a few weeks back when i first got it. this is the one i have:

the leather (yes... "ram leather") is decent, not the best... but not cheap-looking either. i carry mine all the time because i think it's going to look better when it's a little bit "worn" looking, plus it's perfect for everyday use. overall it's about what i expected for the price.

something about the leather in the original post looks too shiny and fake to me. I don't know, it just seems off.

I cancelled my order. After looking at the bag some more, I decided that i really don't like it that much; the price point just got me. I'm going to keep looking. Bex, I think that Rocky has one of the belts.
