I just scored a mint 1960's barkcloth dress at the thrift store and I need funky ideas for accessories. I couldn't find any close examples online, so I'll give my best description:

 - form-fitting v-neck shift dress, hem ends above the knee

 - bright lime and white tropical print

 - details: colar front and back, and small bow on center back

So, I need to buy shoes and was thinking of getting a wedge sandal in green or complementary color, but suggestions for shoes/accessories would be rad!!

while i tend to border on "over-the-top" a lot, i think simple accessories look good with vintage. otherwise, i think it can look costumey.

I am seeing a black belt and shoes with it... Or navy... dark pink would work, and so would yellow.

when all else fails I reach for my skin tone pumps...

I think those shoes would be really cute. I agree with detroit about yellow and navy too. Also a lighter blue or maybe even orange

Of course I'm having trouble finding anything I like right now but here are two really basic pairs from Aerosoles:
