As dumb as this sounds.....I think they did it on purpose, especially with that high number loss. I have a feeling the Spurs are using this to their advantage. Which is stupid, since it would have been nice to win all in one setting.

Was last nights game part of the plan too?

yeah, professional athletes don't lose on purpose- that's not what they're paid millions to do! plus, they're all so naturally competitive, they'd never think to do that. the point is to win 4 games. i'm sure they were trying their hardest to do that in as few games as possible. it doesn't make any sense to throw a game, why let the other team gain any sort of momentum? (which is exactly what has happened in this series!)
go pistons! (i'm rooting for them since rip hamilton played for uconn- i'm a huge husky fan )

i was SO in love with ben last season. gotta love that hair when he brings it out! this year i certainly have a thing for rasheed wallace. he's just so freakin' cool i can't stand it.
i was at the game last night and it was fun watching the spurs lose on purpose... although from the looks on their pouty faces it seemed more like they were losing because they were just plain old losing, not because of some master plan to throw the game!
Hotcocoa, wasn't that game awesome??????????!!!! The energy in the palace was awesome. The Spurs coach Greg pop-a-zit (I called him that all last night because of his acne scars, I thought I was really funny) was SOOOOOO mad, and I enjoyed it a little too much I think. My bf also caught a jersey from above, so he was excited. It was a great night and I think that the Pistons really proved themselves, not just by winning but by winning by so many points. Man they were just on fire. Hopefully I'll be at Sunday's game if it's not reserved for the boys

ohmygosh, i totally forgot that you were going to be there too... darn! we were too high up to catch a jersey... they all fell in front of us but i did catch a red "weenie" balloon that was floating around so that was cool. hee hee! my favorite part (besides the pistons winning by 31 points!) was staring at eminem between play. our friend that was sitting next to me at the game last night is a lunch-mom at his daughters school. hee hee!

Yep, it's funny how it looked the same on TV. I thought Manu Genobili's eyes were going to pop out of his head.

Actually sfcaligirl just for clarifaction, my comment was intented more to be understood for sarcasm and anger that they lost. No athlete in their right mind would waste such an opportunity to lose game.
Where was eminem sitting?! We couldn't figure it out! Kid Rock used to always sit behind the benches so we were thinking there but we couldn't find him. Do tell.

he was sitting directly behind the spurs bench. we were sitting opposite the spurs bench, so he was in our direct line of sight. i didn't see kid rock... but i don't like him half as much as i like eminem so i wasn't so sad.
