Best affordable vacuum cleaner around?

I have a kenmore and I really like it. It was around $200.00 I think it was a good price for the quality. I have tried the dirt devils and those brands and was not impressed. We have a lot of animals though, 2 cats and a dog and lots of amimal friends who visit, so I really needed something that got all of the hair. I liked the kennmore canister because it has a smaller upholstery head that has the rotating brush to get the hair off of the furniture. I have also heard good things about the Dyson but I have never tried it. HTH

There's a Dirt Devil upright vacuum cleaner at Target for $50....it's pretty awesome for a $50 vacuum cleaner. I've had mine for two years and it holds up really well (I think it's called the Featherlite Jaguar or something like that.

We just bought a bissell bagless vacuum from Target. I think it was about $70 bucks. I love it so far. I previously had a Dirt Devil Featherlite that I liked, but now that I have this one, I love it much more.
