Thyroid problems or swelling of feet problems?
Permalink Closed

has anyone ever had problems with swelling of the ankles, feet, face, hands and/or abdomen? I don't even look like myself and this has happened relatively quickly.

or problems with thyroid? what were the symptoms?

i am also having flushing, eye bulging, kidney infection and elevated liver functions?  i am tired and rapid weight gain? any advice?

i had tests for the kidney infection and it is cured with antibiotics and am having my liver bloodwork redone. I have an appt at the doctor tomorrow but i am kind of freaked out.

My mom actually has hypothyroidism and she has swollen feet, puffiness around her eyes, hair loss, weight gain, her muscles hurt sometimes and she gets tired really fast. She went to the doctor and he prescribed her pills she has to take everyday, and although they work, they aren't working THAT well. She doesn't really know what else to do to make it better though.

Her Synthroid dosage most likey isn't high enough. She should talk to her physician about getting her levels checked. I had my thyroid removed and I felt like crap because I wasn't on the right amount. Now that I got the right dosage figured out I feel fine.
