Why Can't I Find Them?? - UPDATE!
Permalink Closed

I know I'm not the only one in the world with short legs.  I love the "cut-off" look of these (though I think she could have found a better top to wear them with) but every pair I try on looks like regular jeans on me! Anyone seen any in a shorter length!

Thanks for the suggestions, I bought these last weekend and cut them off.  I got tons of compliments and no one knew I had done them myself!! Thanks again!!

I am wearing jeans that length today....i cut them myself.

That way you get the jeans you know you love and can make them whatever length you want. I had to do it tho bc i washed them too much and they shrunk to Erkle length....

now they're prefect and perfectly casual for the summer....

Do you just cut them off and then wash them or what??  I'm sorry I sound stupid, but I've never cut anything off before.

i usually cut my jeans too, sometimes because they're too long or because i get tired of them and cut them for spring/summer wear.  what i usually do it cut them first, then wash to get that frayed look.  sometimes after i wash them the stringy frayed parts are a little bit too long so i use a pair of scissors to cut off those pieces.  hth!

Haha I'm wearing my self cropped jeans today, too!  Yeh, I just cut them off and sort of ruffled the edge a bit.  It took one or two washings to get the full effect, though.  It's much easier to take the scissors to a pair you already own than to find a pair with the perfect length, especially when you're petite.

Thanks Guys!!  I've been wanting these ever since I tried them on (they fit great!) but they were way to long and I couldn't find them in a petite length.  Think I'll pick these up tonight and make me some cropped jeans!!  PROJECT!!

if you want that similar look without too much fraying, what you can do is cut them, and then apply a light coating of clear nail polish to the cut edges.  this way, even if you wash it, the hems don't unravel -too- much.

I always cut mine.  I love the frayed hem look.  You can also use Fray Block from the craft section of Wal-Mart or any craft store to minimize holes or fraying.

they shrunk bc i had them for so long and i washed them too much. so i cut them off bc they were that horrific slightly too short length, not good w/any shoes. now they're prefect and if they get a bit shorter...fine, even cooler.
