least offensive sandals

I know this is kind of late, but my mom said my dad asked for rubber slide sandals for father's day. I was going to go out tonight and get some. Dicks is the only place that I have found decent ones. Thanks!

I wanted to add- the reason I asked "least offensive sandals" is because he wears them everywhere. I am all about casual, but my dad will be dressed really nicley and he will slip on these sandals. My mom, sister and I are trying to break him of this. If we don't buy him sandals he will go out and buy them for himself.

****I thought Father's Day was tomorrow, but I just realized I have another week. DUH****

voted for #2 cause I love green, and the other have those big white thick lines and these are much thinner and dont stand out so much, so i think he'd be able to pull these off more with everything. I like the Nike ones too though...........

just not 4... i've had them before, and the little bumps hurt my feet.  the only way i could wear them without being in abject pain was to wear socks with them (ugh).... and i dont think you want to encourage your father to wear socks with his sandals

#3 take me WAAAY back to 1988 when I was in college and I used to wear them EVERYWHERE. I went to UCLA and they were sooo comfy and versatile. You could even wear them with socks -- at least I did. I kept those things for almost 10 years!

#2 seems like a Dad kind of pair.  The others look like something teenage boys on the swim team would wear.

Thanks! Those are definaltey out of the questions. I don't need to add another problem to the sandal issue.

Thanks girls. I think I am going to go w/ #2. I am thinking about #5 because they are blue and maize and those are the colours of the University of Michigan. We are HUGE U of M fans in this house and I think my dad would like them. After all it is Father's Day, so I should probably take his taste into consideration as well. I will go check them out in person and decide.

Thanks again everyone.
