Dancing in front of a crowd (if the dance floor is relatively empty).  If I have a buzz, that's a different story!

Me, too. I would love to be able to sing though.

Public speaking

I am very self confident and have great self esteem. I do fine at parites and speaking in class @ my seat, but when I have to stand up in front of everyone I freeze. I talk sofast and no one can understand me. I had to do a speech for a class last semster and it was a little over 15 mins when I timed my self at home, but when I got to class I finished the speech in a little over 10 mins. God, I hate talking in front of people.

If I am in the room with someone I KNOW doesn't like me, everything will make me self-conscious.  EVERYTHING!  The sound of my voice, the conversation I am engaged in, my hair, my clothes, my posture, dancing, my facial expressions, and more.  It's awful.  I get so uncomfortable.

Eating anywhere but a dining table with other people eating. It feels like everyone can hear me chew. And I think it looks tacky. It's a weird phobia...

lots of things, but most especially:

-dancing, because I am awful and have no rhythm. Same goes for singing.

-eating. I HATE eating in front of strangers.

yep, me too. Although it's getting better. Public speaking (including just speaking in class) kills me and I flat out refuse to dance in public (which most people find ironic since I am a trained dancer and have performed in front of thousands of people and competed all over the world...it's just not the same.)

My answer would have been walking. It's just awkward when I walk around in the mall or something. I, too need to work on the whole self-esteem thing. I know I'm not ugly or anything and I know what kind of person I am but I just don't know why I always feel so ... not perfect.

i feel really self-conscious wearing a bathing suit.  i absolutely hate my thighs with a passion (so much so that i won't even wear shorts in the hottest of weather) and i feel like that is all that people stare at when they see me in a bathing suit!

I'm w/you HB - I hate eating in front of strangers. I thought it was just my own weird phobia!  I used to have the damnest time when I would go on first dates w/guys and they'd take me to eat!  It's so uncomfortable!

I feel really self conscious going into high end stores, so I usually don't!
