ugh, i need help!!

So it turns out I have a virus on my computer and I have to run the recovery program and delete everything off my hard drive. My question is this: how do I save all the music on my ipod? I ahve some downloaded music and some bought music, so I guess I'm confused. Do I ahve to burn it all onto a disk and then re-load it? HELP!!!!!

You will need to back up your music files. You can do this by burning them onto a cd/other media, or you can transfer the files to your ipod in HARD DISK MODE. You can't transfer your ipod music back onto your computer if you hadn't transferred them as actual files in hard disk mode.

One thing, you should make sure your music files are unaffected by the virus. Chances are, they are virus-free, but it's better to be safe.
