I was thinking of sending my dad some gourmet goodies for Father's day. I was thinking like cookies, or cakes...etc...anyone know of good sites?

I haven't bought gift baskets on the internet, because every time I look at them and tally up the cost of what's in the basket I realize I'm getting completely ripped off.  I just make my own much cheaper. 


Sorry, I know that's not help, but I have a suggestion you may not have thought of.  If your dad is like almost every guy I have ever met, then he loves meat.  Have you considered sending him some gourmet steaks, or even gourmet, wild-caught seafood?  I've bought lots of this type of stuff as gifts for friends and family and they love it. 


Williams Sonoma (they sell lots of great gift stuff online) has lots of gourmet food items, including desert stuff at a range of prices from twenty-something to over a hundred bucks.

does your dad like to grill?  mine does and so i am ordering him some things from Omaha Steaks.
