Deal:  I hate my jeans.

Want:  sleek, dark jeans (specifically to wear with sequin tank and heels) for upcoming going out.

Size:  12.

Price range:  I am willing to spend up to $100, if they are the most beautiful jeans ever that make me feel and look wonderful.  Would prefer less.

Misc. info:  As time is semi of the essence and all jeans are cut differently, I need a brick-and-mortar at which to examine, try on and, hopefully, purchase.

Ready, set, go...

i would go to a deptment store, or a store that specializes in denim and bring a ton of denim into the fitting rooms.  from this board, i heard that ag jeans and joes fit well.  my friend was just raving about gap jeans!  i would try gap cuz ag and joes and most other designers are pretty expensive.

if you want to get the most for your money then follow shopgirl's advice and then head to ebay or your local tj maxx type store. that way you can figure out what you like, then get it at a discount. express has some really nice dark denim editors. also look for sales. lots of stores are having them right now. don't know where you are, but i was in barney's co-op and they had a good selection of jeans on sale (7s, citizens, james) for around $100.

I think you would be perfect in size 32.. Joe's Jeans.. preferably socialite style. My suggestion is go to a department store and try them on.. if you love.. go home and purchase from the internet so that you can use a % off code or at least a shipping code. Otherwise, you will be hard pressed to get these jeans for less than $100.

I would try Gap.  If you are looking for trouser jeans, try Express--love their dark-wash trouser jeans!  Also look at the department stores, which are nice because they carry multiple brands and often have sales and/or coupons.

I went to my Gap outlet and tried on 5 pairs of jeans.  I found a very fabulous pair that fit so good!  Very light weight denim, wide leg, dark enough to be dressy.  And best of all they were only $12.99!  I love them so much I wore them 2 days in a row!
