that's so awesome!! i love denver. and another perk....it's cheap to fly everywhere from denver since it's so central! check out boulder too. i fell in love with boulder (had my bags packed ready to go there for college, then i got a huge scholarsip somewhere else...so i couldn't do that to my parents...)

That's great! I've heard Denver is beautiful. Did you guys get that apartment you posted about?
No - we found out that they have a bunch of ducks/geese on their property (which I could care less about 'cause I think they're cute), but they kill them with poisoned food and then leave their dead bodies around the property!
Um, no thanks!
We ended up at a different complex - it's still really nice, we'll have an attached garage, and it's only 4 miles from FH's work. It's also less expensive than the one we were thinking about going with (and we get 5% off per month because of FH's university affiliation), but only a one bedroom. We figured it would be totally fine with us for now, and then we can move in a year when the wedding's over, FH has gotten a raise, and we know the area better.
We move in 17 days!

Congrats, I'm so glad it all worked out - what a strange duck / goose story. And I have to say, there were duck / geese at my old complex and those damn geese were LOUD in the mornings, so consider yourself lucky. Although I still think the poisoning seems extreme - GOSH!
I haven't kept up enough to know your whole situation - but do you have a job lined up there or are you just going to wing it & find something after you move?
Good for ya'll (yes, texas)!!!
