Oh I am so jealous! I Dora the Explorer (I am such a little kid at heart).
We are going "home" (why we still call it that after having moved away 5 years ago, I will never understand) to pick up our new car...added bonus is that the Irish Festival is this weekend so I will get to watch my little sister dance and see my old dance teacher, who I haven't seen in forever and miss like crazy.
Going home to my mom's this weekend and going out to celebrate a friend's b-day, then coming back on Sunday to start majorly packing--I move on Wednesday.
If anyone can offer advice on how to spend three whole days off (I usually work siz days a week), I would be very appreciative. We would have spent the time at the beach and boardwalk, but the weather doesn't look like it will cooperate.
We are considering going into NY, but I wonder if it will be exceedingly busy due to the mild holiday weahter. If it will be too crowded I would rather stay away.
I have no clue otherwise. I don't want to shop (gasp! Ok, I DO want to shop, but have no business doing any shopping for awhile). I don't want to see any movies. I don't know what to do if it's raining. I will go nuts if I stay inside. Besides, whenever I'm stuck home all day I end up cleaning non-stop; I even get nutty and start cleaning with toothpicks and q-tips, or iron everything in sight. I don't think I want to spend my holiday doing that.
I am heading up to San Francisco. Plan to see my folks and friends up there, walk around the city (I love it there! Could just walk around aimlessly all day taking stuff in). And a little bit O' shopping.
going to NYC, hooray! a whole girly weekend of shopping and restaurants! it is the beginning of my vacation--i leave from there on tuesday to go to boston for the rest of the week and come home on friday. yay!
