Hello again all,

Before I start stalking this jacket on ebay I wanted to get your opinions. do you think this jacket will prove a timeless favorite- or a just passing fancy?

almost pulled the trigger while it was still in store- is it worth stalking?

I think its more of a timeless look. I recently got a 25% off coupon for mid/end of August so keep your eyes open for a code or stop in and grab one of those "Mad Men" catalogs, thats where I got it.

I do like, it looks very classic and classy, and I think you could wear with lots of outfits!

I was thinking the same thing,I think maybe it is the color that gives it that vibe.

I think it's styled well in the photo, but I don't really like it.

- Color that's not usually flattering
- Sleeves an awkward length
- Adds bulk around the middle, almost a maternity cut
- No pockets (bad, IMO, for a jacket)
- Neckline too high, would be weird with a collared shirt
- Would probably look dorky buttoned up

I think it's rather cute & in neutral color. You definitely wouldn't want to  wear it buttoned up. If I may, how old are you? I personally love this sleeve length. Although, I do think the neckline is a bit old fashioned, but easy to wear with scarfs/ chunky necklace under it as on the pic/ a bunch of pins to add a punch of color & pzazz...Looks good with jeans, can be worn for a tailored corporate work look or evening out/theater/festive occasion.
