I think they're overreacting a little by taking it to the media, BUT I would be mad if it were my kids' school yearbook.  A funny play on words is fine and great for adults, but a HS yearbook that is being viewed by 14-18 year old kids w/ such suggestive headings is inexcusable.  The adult supervisor really dropped the ball or at least had a bad lapse of judgement.

This is totally out of line!  It isn't bad enough that kids are having sex like crazy and getting pregnant, but to promote this sort of thing is mind boggling.  I'm no prude, but this is ridiculous to even use those inuendos.  I know kids get sent home for shirts with inappropriate phrases on them, this is no worse and it's the authority-figure allowing it.

Mormon community or not I say it's a bad idea.

I am 18 and just out of high school, I don't think it's that big of a deal. It's funny, and it didn't have any explicit sexual content, so what's wrong with it? Maybe it's not THE most appropriate choice, but I would think it's more inappropriate to ask for someone's job because of a yearbook that is suggestive in text alone, and which featured a theme chosen by the primary users of the yearbook. Besides that, it wasn't the advisors job to raise these kids, if the parents have a problem with their kid's own suggestions maybe they need to do some re-evaluating at home, instead of just passing to buck to teachers and teaching staff.
