I just wanted to recommend "Amores perros" (hello! Gael Garcia stars) and "Hows your news?" a documentary about a group of mentally challenged adults from Martha's Vinyard who go on a road trip, really funny and produced by Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

These are all movies that you can rent. I haven't been to the theatre in so long because it costs like $40 now a days for a couple to go see a movie and get some F'in candy and popcorn!

For a Gril Power movie: It's kind of old but I think every woman should see Iron Jawed Angels. Hillary Swank stars in it and it is about the womens movement to vote way back when. It is so powerful and has some of the most beautiful cinamatography I have ever seen.

For a fun cute-sy Chick Flick movie: Win a Date with Tad Hammilton. It's just a really sweet movie with cute guys (Josh Dumahel and Topher Grace) and a really cute love story.

For a really old chick flick: The Favor. It has Brad Pitt in it and it is one of his first movies. It is HILARIOUS and he is really quite yummy in it.

For a "your boyfriend will like this as much as you" movie: TROY !!!
Orlando Bloom, Brad Pitt, blood, love, war. The best of both worlds for you and your man.

For a tear jerker: Man in the Moon with Reese Witherspoon when she was like 9 and Jeremy London when he was like 17. Makes me cry EVERY time!

Hey f413 - I'm from Martha's Vineyard.  Is it a real life documentary?  I'll have to rent it.  Never heard of it before.

~I saw Kingdom of Heaven last night and loved it.  It's about the Crusades - Juraselem, Christianity and Muslims - very very good.

~I also saw Melinda and Melinda by Woody Allen.  It's about two takes on one person - if her life were a tragedy and the other if her life were a comedy.

Yes, it's a real documentary and don't let the Matt Stone/Trey Parker credit scare you. I believe they just put up the dough, but anyhow it is really funny and sweet.

FYI-if you ever listen to Howard Stern, the song they play to introduce Robin's news segment is from this film.
