my friend just bought a new bmw and him and his girlfriend took driving lessons when they picked it up.  I know that sounds stupid, but what it is, is they are in a bmw (not theirs) and drive around an enclosed track.  basically they learn what to do when it rains, like how to drive (she was telling me how you look ahead of you, and the second you look down you mess up).  it sounded really cool.  there is a guy telling you instructions from up in some bleachers looking down.  he's a professional driver or something.  it's not like safety driving (i guess it kind of is) it's like fun driving in an enclosed track.  she is a lawyer and she said she felt super safe (she read all the fine print and stuff).  i'm not sure how much it cost, but it might be fun to look into.
