So freaking cool!  (From the SF Gate News Website):



Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, NASA released this image of the Sombrero galaxy. The galaxy, called Messier 104, is commonly known as the Sombrero galaxy because in visible light it resembles the broad-brimmed Mexican hat. The picture combines an infrared observation from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope with a visible light image from the Hubble Space Telescope.

Oh such pretty colors!  I wonder how far away it is from here.  I feel stupid but does our galaxy look that pretty from far away?

Ok thats what I thought I had seen of it before. Oh well isn't that the way it goes.  Our stuff sucks while others looks cool.
