I tried these on today and they fit like a dream.  I might get them instead of the beige chanel flats/black captoe that I have been watching on eBay and get those next time they pop up (which may be several months.)  Or perhaps I could ask for these as my college graduation present  I don't know what my obsession with lady-like lately is- perhaps it is boho backlash??  I am usually quite boho but i'm not feeling it this season.

i LOOOOVE them. but i live in NYC and end up in black too much (i AM the cliche). i wore my Fer. slingbacks until they litterally fell apart and the store yelled at me bc i wore them in the rain....how was i supposed to know it would rain on my shoes?


I'm not sure where you live or what you do(in terms of needing classic black sling backs), but these and the chanel cap toes are classics. i think the chanels are younger tho and more now. i vote for cap toes. you can get great black slingbacks almost anywhere but the chanel cap toes are the real thing and you can wear them as an old grama too and remmber your excellent purchase as a savvy youg woman.


all that said, wouldn't it be nice if $ were no issue.....

hehe, well I def. want them both!  The Chanels are always an option though.  I could wear the captoes more, i tried them on and they are cute, but Ferragamos were awesome on my feet.  I love Ferragamo- ever since I won a vintage *to die for* pair on eBay, I have been obsessed- I think they are really well made.  They were so comfy and lady-like, and the bows remind me of Alice in Wonderland.  I don't have any black shoes, lol.  But we'll see how much graduation money I get, I may treat myself to this pair and the Tiffany's bean necklace.  Those make fitting graduation presents in my eyes.  I can always buy the Chanels myself later.

Went to the Saks sale last night like a masochist and SAW THESE SHOES and wished i had your # so i could have bought them for you! i was alone and there was no one else there who could be excited for me....CALL the Manhattan store and get them!!!!!


 


it was all just too many fabulous people and yes, i got shoes of my dreams, but i saw these and couldn't wait to get to work (!!) and tell you!

aww you're so sweet!  I actually bought them yesterday- they're sending them to me from my local saks.  I hope they don't mess up!  Weren't they pretty??
