I need help with an outfit

I have these pants and I need help putting together an outfit with them.  It is hard to see in the pic, but they have extremely tiny navy and white stripes.  They look almost solid if you are 6 feet from them.   They have this cute lace up in the back, so I need something that would tuck in or maybe a short jacket over something that will tuck in.  I would prefer not to wear a white shirt alone with them.  I have a navy cami on with them in the pic, but it was just to keep from showing my stomach.  I am open to any ideas.  Please help.  Thanks.

I love the pants. If you're wearing them with those cute pumps as on the picture - I don't think those pumps work with those pants. I'd think of a  tank top or halter  or sleeveless top or sleeveless blouse  - the proportion of the body would be balanced then, blouse with the sleeves might  be heavy for this high waist. Can have pin tucks/ruffles around  neckline. Probably in white/off white/pale yellow/pale blue/pale pink/pale peach, i think that light color top will be more flattering here then dark navy.

I'd do some chunky-heeled pumps, and a top like this (not necessarily this color), sort of like what Yana was saying I think:

If you wanted something on top of that, I recently saw this blogger tie her cardi in an interesting way, although I haven't been able to try it myself yet:

Red, yellow, or orange on top would be nice.

Oh, I love this top, where did you find it?

Re: chunky heels - I don't think she can, since on the picture it looks like the pants were hemmed to be worn with either a flat or 1 1/2" - 1" maximum heel, with the heel the hem won't hit the floor & the pants will look awkward in length.

I like the idea of wearing yellow with them. Of course, I'm having a hard time finding anything in yellow to use as an example!

If you wanted to try white or navy, something with interesting detail might work.

I'm a big fan of fushia with navy/white too. Cute pants!

Thanks so much ladies.  I think I will go with a bright colored, sleeveless top.  The pants are made to me worn with low heels.  Unfortunately, there is not a deep enough hem to let them out.  I don't like the flats I have with them.  I just threw them on for the pic.  What do you think about these shoes with the pants?

OR in white?

I like both, but white seems to be a little more chic & will pop as a color. But nude will work too.

i like the brown better, these would work as well as the silver thongs/flip flops you posted in the other post.  i also like the idea of fuschia with it, or yellow, but not red as i think it would look to patriotic.
