Any frequent travelers out there? I am planning my honeymoon and am looking for some ideas and advice on destinations, hotels, etc. One forum that's been helpful so far is Marriott Rewards Insiders, since I am a rewards member. There are a lot of experts there who travel a lot. Any other ideas or recommendations?
I like hunting around on Orbitz- I've gotten my best deals there in the last few years. No one else ever seems to match them when it's a truly good deal. Are you looking for destination recommendations?
For deals I love Travelzoo-the best deals come out on Wednesdays. I also love Flyertalk, Fatwallet (click on the Travel thread on the forums), and Slickdeals.net.
Tripadvisor is great for hotel reviews. I also use www.biddingfortravel.com which is a great "cheat sheet" for using Priceline (though the site owner is very rude).
If you're looking for personal recs for places once you choose a destination, The Lonely Planet forum is great.
If you want some ideas of where to go, tell me what you and your fiancee like to do. Are you beach people? Adventure people? Do you like to go-go or read & relax on vacation? Are you foodies or do you have any hobbies that you guys like doing (like golf, scuba diving, cultural interests?)

I use the same websites when planning my trip.
Are you guys active travelers? Or do you like to just go somewhere to relax and be pampered? Warm? Cool? Any places in the world where you guys have always wanted to go?
Thanks for the site ideas - I'll have to check them out. The Marriott Rewards site has been helpful - I've found some good reviews and destination ideas.
I'm looking for a warm weather, beach and relaxing setting with some fun sightseeing excursions close by. Any ideas are welcome!
