Awww, I'm glad it helped ya! I love it too... and funnyily enough it comes from the opening song to the Disney movie Oliver and Company, which Xzavier watches ALL the time and that line always jumps out at me. It's so true... dreams are what keep us going :)
I'm a quote junkie - I like taking a good statement out of a book, a song, a poem and "turn it" into one. In my present situation, I've been relying on Nietzsche (or Kanye, depending how you look at it, hee hee): "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
Not really inspirational, but I always used to tease my bf with this one (although I am not much of a Nietzsche fan at all): "There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness."
I tend to be most inspired by transcendalist quotes, Buddhist quotes, the Tao Te Ching. Also really old folklore statements/prayers, like "This too shall pass". Oh, and Nin.. I like a lot of her quotes, like this one: "And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
Last but not least, I have been obsessively repeating this one since I seem to be dealing with a lot of incompetence lately! I once read that one has to fully accept our own flaws before we can remain unbothered by others' incompetencies... *sigh* "To be aware of a single shortcoming in oneself is more useful than to be aware of a thousand in someone else." ~The Dalai Lama

I'm not sure where I got this from. Everytime something is not going right, I feel too much pressure, mad, pain or whatever the reason might be, I always think and say to myself: "It's only temporary."
Meaning before I know it, it will pass. I'll forget about it. There's no reason to continue to worry about.
