Clothes for an interview
Permalink Closed

I am going to be going on my first job interview-ever. Man, I am such slacker. I don't know what to wear. I don't really have anything that is business dress, so I will probably have to buy something. I was just hoping for some ideas on what to wear. I am almost guaranteed the job- unless I go in and slap the office manager or something. What I wear is not going to make or break me, but I still want to go in dressed appropriately. Thanks ladies.

I think you'd be fine in a button down and slacks, unless it is a really professional environment and then you'd probably need a suit.  BR and Express have nicely tailored button downs if you don't already have one/some.  Good luck!

It is a vet's office, so it is not proffesional at all.

Can I wear opened toed shoes w/ pants? I know flip flops and sandals are a "no", but what about opened toed heels?

I would go closed toe, low heel just to be on the safe side.  If you don't have some already and don't need to add a nice pair to your wardrobe, maybe some cheapies just for the interview?

Thanks LMonet! I think I will get a few pair of black closed toe shoes. I am 23, so it is probably time for me to start adding some adult business clothes to my wardrobe. Thanks again!
