Is anyone else still workin' a shopping ban? I'm on one of sorts - I've limited myself to no new items (must be thrifted) but am allowed to buy a few select house items new when/if I come along the right ones. I'm feeling good about it still, which was probably helped by the fact that I just got two enormous hauls of thrift goodies - you know those trips where everything you pick up is awesome and fits? I looove those! Aside from a new pair of sandals for the warmer weather, I can't see anything else I'd need something new for, so I'm trying to stay strong!
Anyone else?

oh, i'm still in! i have broken down a few times, but i think i'm doing quite well lately. i haven't been to the mall in a coons age, and even target rarely sees me anymore. i've been spending more time at the library, outside, with my family, and reading. we've also cut way back on eating out. my daughter is getting blisters from her shoes, though, so i'll have to go out and find her a new pair soon. the reason why we're saving is for a down payment on a house, and we put in an offer two weeks ago... hopefully we get it!

Sigh. I broke down and bought 2 Sweet Pea tops in the Rue La La sale earlier this week and I bought a ton of books at the library sale over the weekend but that was a planned purchase. I have been returning a lot of my recent shopping lately so I haven't beat myself up over 2 tops for $50. I'm aiming for no spending this weekend or next week.
