Yummie Tummie?
Permalink Closed

I've been on a quest for body shapers lately (well, as of this weekend when I finally admitted to myself that I'm a lard butt), and I came across Yummie Tummie tanks and tees.  Supposedly better than Spanx, which wouldn't be hard.  I ordered one on ebay, because their $72 price tag is a little hard to swallow.  I only paid $25, which is still a lot if it doesn't work.

Anyone have any experience with this brand?

I've heard lots about it - have always been curious. One tip, the extra long tees are way too long and are almost like dresses, the extra fabric just adds bulk.

I recall seeing a sample sale of this brand a while back on rue la la I believe as well.

When you get it, give us a full review!

I've got one and unfortunately I'm not too pleased with it for the following:

1) it is ridiculously tight. I always have a stomach ache when I wear it. I wear a size 0 pants and have the medium cami, yet it is still ridiculously tight.

2) it smothers the girls. (and i am lacking in that department) you basically get a uni-boob. Although I have recently seen them with excess fabric in the chest, thank god!

3) I am constantly having to un-bunch it and pull it down.

Hopefully it will be better for you than it was me! maybe we have different styles. Let us know what you think when it arrives.

Why in the world would you want a yummie tummie if you're a size 0, collegegirl??????? I'm getting it so I can LOOK like I'm a size 0 again! ha! Thanks for the info, though. Kind of sounds like my issues w/ Spanx. I don't remember which style I bought. I know there are like 10 or so tank styles, though, and there are tees, too.

I bought a medium, regular length. I'm not worried too much about the boobs since I have like a negative size bra anyway after have ing 4 babies.

I am slim and I don't have the flattest tummy and I have a booty. hmm  So I'm always looking for shape wear too. Haven't really found any yet. I didn't think Spanx lived up to the hype.
