I am wanting a pair of wedges that ties around the ankle.  I thought I read someone stay that those hurt and were hard to wear.  Opinions?

I have a pair and I never wear them b/c they hurt but i don't know it could just be me.

I think it really depends on the material of the ties. I have a pair of tie sandals that are very comfy - my ties are really flexible and soft. I can imagine that a rougher material would dig into the skin and cause discomfort.
