I was chosen to be a Glambassador with Glamour magazine. It sounds like a lot of fun. You get to try out beauty products and attend events.

Has anyone ever been one before? I am curious how the whole process works.

"ambassadors" are an online marketing tactic being used by some companies for viral campaigns.  basically, they give perks to individuals so they will say positive things about whatever it is the company is trying to sell in social networking sites.  this tactic has been backfiring because the credibility of the ambassadors is diminished as their opinions are fueled by perks.

stylethread does not act as an ambassador for anyone.
