I like #1...the punchier yellow in the flowers works better with the skirt. #2 is really pretty, but I think the skirt is too vibrant for the top.

i agree - I like #1 - the flowers on #2 seem like too much with that skirt. They match a little too closely. The shades on #1 sort of make it less "hello..." and more sophisitcated.

I like #1-Meow - sorry to throw more choices into the mix, but have you thought of a khaki colored top? I've seen it with the bright yellow and I think it's a great color combo

I never thought of khaki color. I think that would be great. The more I think about it the more I realize my skirt needs something to tone it down a bit and khaki would probably work well. Thanks.

I really like both tops but I don't like them with your skirt. I think top #1 would make the outfit too gaudy. #2 would probably be too much yellow unless you could break it up with some shoes or a handbag. Hmmm, that is a pretty skirt but it is very difficult to think of what would work with it.

I don't like #1 with the skirt. Your skirt looks too heavy/dressy for such a summery shirt. I like the style of #2 much better with your skirt, the button down and tie neck make it look sexy librarian-esque and I think the fabric would be better with the skirt. Why don't you order both and see what works, as well as maybe something like this:
