So I am going to a wedding in two weeks and I really don't want to so I've been trying not to think about it. I really don't know what to wear though. They are useless when you ask them. (they responded "wear clothes" ) Its at 1 and is being held in a local bar/hall type place (I seriously have only ever know it as a bar).

I have a dress like this, but it is to my knee in the front and mid calf in the back, and has spaghetti straps.

style #1037887 available sizes: 6 I have a beige pashmina I could use as a wrap. Do you think that would be to dressy? Any other suggestions? I really don't want to buy something new for this, unless I'll be able to get a decent amount of use out of it.

If this dress is appropriate, please help with accesories.

mm, I personally think a silky/shiny black dress like that is too dressy for a 1 PM wedding (esp at a bar/hall!) I would say maybe something in a bright, pretty print-- I haven't really been out looking this spring so far, but I bet you could find a nice simple, casual dress at Gap or somewhere for not too much $.

thats what I was afraid of. what about one of the j.crew dresses? if I remember correctly, they had some cute ones around $100, I wouldn't mind spending that if I already have the accessories and can get more wear out of it than the one day.

I think one of the JCrew dresses would be perfect - definitely something that can be worn again.

yeah i'd look at the jcrew dresses--i got a dress recently from ann taylor loft that was perfect for an afternoon wedding-wasn't too dressy at all-and the best part...it was only $25...

but i agree that something with a pretty print would be best
