congrats on the job!

i was approaced by my salespeople at my fave boutique to work there a couple of weekends ago... 40% off everything!  including MARC JACOBS!  i am seriously considering it just to support my habit of expensive clothes...

did i mention 40% off- INCLUDING MARC JACOBS.... *sigh*  i would work for clothes- literally...

i don't know how you could resist the temptation... good luck!

Congrats!  Ritz- just out of curiousity, about how much do they pay.  You can PM me if you don't want to post it.  I've worked a retail job where the pay was horrible so I wanted to compare.

Congrats.I work part-time a retailer for the discount and because it pays every week (my full time job is every other) So I see it as saving money.........I'd be buying the stuff anyway, so it's like a private sale every day!

(It's starting to get a little sick how I rationionalize my shopping habits)

i do the same thing.  i am not ashamed of it either!  i have a great career and two days a week i do bcbg instead of overtime at the hospital.  plus, it's easier for me to budget.  i use my retail paycheck mostly for fun/entertainment/shopping and my hospital paycheck for bills/401k/investments/etc...

once you work a job with a perk, it's hard to give it up.  now...if i can just find a way to cut down on my salon costs
