STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I saw the prettiest silk scarf today at TJ Maxx and almost bought it...but I really don't ever use scarves I buy.  I love the scarf tied over the head with a low ponytail look - except, I have very very short hair - about 1-2" all the way around, so ponytails are out for me.  Would I look ridiculous tying a scarf like that with short hair poking out the back?  What else can I do with this scarf...I can't stop thinking about it!  It's not huge...folded into a triangle, it would barely tie around my head...so a belt is out.  There has to be some other way to use it.  I've tried the scarf around my neck thing and I really can't pull that off....  Any other ideas?  Thanks!
