A friend of mine (one of those guys who thinks he knows EVERYTHING about cars and since I am a chick I know nothing) insisted that I could never get one because they were "death traps" and that I should get a bigger vehicle, a "pick-up or an SUV". Anyway, then I found this online:

Bex - I really do like the colour. I hate those jewel tones that all the new cars were painted with in the 90's, but in the past couple of years there have been much nicer colours out. Your purple, for example, and the new pale acid green (for ex. on the new Mustangs - gah!) - mush nicer than that matte forest minivan green tone. Yuck.

Mia- wow!  i knew Minis were super safe- but this confirms my research even more!  the pictures proves that bigger is not necessarily better! (well- at least in the size of cars that is! )

Holy Smokes!  I never knew exactly how safe a Mini was/is until seeing that photo.

Yeah it sure shut my I-know-everything-about-cars male friend right the hell up. Which was...sweet. It's not the size, it's the engineering (i.e. is it any good?) that counts.

Bex - yes, cars only! ;)
