Drugstore "Look For Less" - Stila Smudgepots
Permalink Closed

I've been a fan of Stila Smudgepots, have purchased many times but was never really crazy about the way they dry up very easily.

I recently tried this liner, Loreal HIP - and was really impressed!  The staying power is very good and it is a little smoother and not as dry as Smudgepots.  The brush is decent for application as well, but I tend to use my own Stila brush.

 It's eyeliner.

I've been wondering about the HIP version. I heard they were comparable on MUA but haven't ever tried them myself. Thanks for the tip!

Its a gel/wax eyeliner, sorry if I didn't make that clear! The Smudgepots are known for being longwearing yet "smudgeable" for a smokey look. Trouble was, they'd dry up on me and for $20 I can't afford to get a new one every 3 months.

The color pictured is brown so I think thats why it looks reddish.  I have the black and eggplant.

Try HIP, I think this is the closest comparision. I havent tried it yet but I am very tempted as I've read a lot of great reviews.
