I think the second hair cut is a bit funky. The bangs don't seem to work with the rest of the cut. Because of that, I think it might be hard to replicate it or even to tweak it a bit to look a little bit more normal.

However, the first cut? That would look totally awesome on you. You might have to use some texturizer (like a really dry wax) to get your hair to have some heft to it, otherwise it might just hang there. I do like you with bangs though, so whatever you do, keep the bangs.

That first cut is so cool. I think it's a great modern cut. And the nice thing about getting your hair cut, it always grows back if you don't love it.

I have a slightly shorter version of that cut myself, and thin straight hair. I disagree that it has to look perfect, since the whole point of it is to look a little uneven and messy. Sometimes it's hard to get a stylist to do a look like this - they get real used to everyone wanting their 'pretty' cuts and to look perfect, and this sorta requires that they hack into some stuff and mess things up on purpose. It's much easier to get it to look like the pics if it's not cut perfectly!

Mine is all razored up around the bottom and more heavily done in back, and relrel's right that you can throw some texturizer/wax in it to mess it up and be good to go.

I think it would look awesome on you. If you want to really funk it up I think both the cut and you would look super hot with red hair ... just sayin'!
