Sounds to me like you're in a beauty rut! Okay, it also sounds like you have a lot of things I would recommend to you. This is tricky...but I can recommend something I just got and really like. I bought Nars the Multiple. I bought mine in St Barts (it sounds like we have the same coloring, but I could be wrong). I like it because I can put it on and really not need anything else. Btw, whenever I'm in a beauty rut, I don't go out and buy new stuff, I look up new 'looks' off the runways and such and play with them on me. HTH

omg! you sound like me! i was in henri bendel's last friday looking for a brush set and ended up getting made over at the laura mercier counter. i told the girl i hated the fact that by mid-afternoon, all of my eye make-up had disappeared. she made me over and i bought practically all of the products... and i am SO happy with them. the most killer product i bought is the eye shadow base. the make up girl told me that she used to work for bobbi brown and even them they used the LM eyeshadow base. A-Mazing!

i would recommend just going to sephora and getting made over (i recommend sephora because the makeup artists use from all the lines and you aren't stuck with one line) although i am seriously in love with Laura Mercier right now!!!

I second the sephora rec. I love urban decay eyeshadows mixed with a more calmer line like lorac. Urban decay usually has lots of glitter in their shadows but if used right they are fun and not too bad. I also just got nars blush in orgasm and love it. Ooh you should check out Dior Show mascara if you haven't already. It is awesome.

I have not bought new make up in sooooooooo long. I was going to go to Sephora, but I like to have some thoughts in my head before I go. I will look into Laura Mercier, any colors you recommend? Urban Decay is a little too glittery for my taste for day, but tons of fun for night.

Nars orgasm is too light on me and didn't show up....the lipgloss was too chalky on me too.

Any other great products?

I totally second the Laura Mercier suggestion! I have been wearing their makeup for 8 years now! Love everything!

Was going to suggest it to you, but then I read that you like pretty packaging. Laura's packaging is pretty boring, brown cases, but the make up is great.

hmm there is another nars blush then that works well on everyone orgasm doesn't work for but i don't know which one it is.

Too Faced makes good eyeliner. Lava gloss. My mom is in love with it.

agreed. the packaging is a bit boring, but the product is the best!

I think my problem is I go for the packaging vs. a great product, that is what I would like to change. I would much rather have a great eyeshadow than a cute tub that it comes in! TIA! I would love to know about the Nars blush if anyone knows...
