Does anyone have any theories on the whole Mary-Alice/Angela thing & what Paul is hiding?


My theory is that Paul & Angela lived in Utah where she worked as a nurse (well, we know that much for sure) -- Angela was unable to have kids for whatever reason and so they stole a pair of newborn twins and moved to Wisteria Lane, changed their names, etc. Dana (one of the twins) died in some kind of accident but they had to cover up her death or the authorities would realize that the kids were kidnapped. Their living son is Dana's twin.


Farfetched but all I can think of. Anyone else have any theories?

why twins?  just curious cuz from what i understood i thought that zach was older than dana... did i miss something (well, that's a yes, i've missed a couple episodes which is why i'm concerned that something may have come out that i'm unaware of)


my theory: paul is behind all of the evil doings (MA/Angela's "suicide", Dana's death, Mrs. Huber's death - duh! - and everything else that is wrong w/ that family)... well, that's all i got so far, i'll keep ya updated!

yeah, but what about the woman that Mike was in love with, the one whose father Mike is working for?  the adult female remains found in the chest Paul dug up in the very first episode?  who is SHE?  and what does she have to do with Mary Alice/Angela/Dana, if anything at all?


i also read on a spoiler site that we already know Dana, we just don't know it.  sooooo...maybe Susan's annoyingly precocious daughter is Dana???  that makes no sense, but i don't think there's anyone else around that age...


what i wanna know is, when is Gabby gonna get pregnant and when is Rex gonna keel over from having their respective meds tampered with???

Crystal-- I was thinking twins just bc then they could have stolen both kids at once. I think that people assume that Dana was younger bc she was a baby when she died but I don't think thats ever been explicitly said... not sure though. =) Hey, I said it was farfetched, heehee


Valenciana-- I forgot about that chest they dug up!!! Hmm. the mystery deepens. Do you think that the women that Mike is in love with is related to this mystery? Also, interesting that we already know Dana. If it was Susan's daughter (who is so annoying by the way), that would be an interesting twist for sure...

I've also read that spoiler that we already know Dana.  My farfetched theory is that Paul & Mary Alice's son (can't remember his name right now) was Dana, but after they kidnapped him (possibly from the woman Mike was in love with) they had to change his name.  I'm not sure Dana was ever "killed" - I think in one epsoide the police say they found a woman's remains in the trunk that Paul dug up from under the pool and tossed in the lake.  Maybe those bones belong to Dana's real mom from whom the Youngs' stole the baby?

okay, i was so not thinking about this carefully...trixie, i think you're on to something.  i just assumed that Dana was a girl because that's how they keep talking about her/it? but it can certainly be a boy's name.  And wasn't that blanket they found yellow (as opposed to pink or blue)?  Definitely ambiguous.  I have never bought Paul's story that Zach killed his baby sister and questioned whether there even was a baby sister...oooh, i just hope they continue with the new episodes, i got a little annoyed with all the reruns and it not being on.

I think the remains in the toy chest belong to Dana's mom, aka Mike's mystery woman.  So my theory is this mystery chick was pregnant and for whatever reason, staying at the rehab place where Angela worked in Utah.  I also think Angela and her creepy husband (his name escapes me right now) couldn't have kids so they kidnapped this lady, killed her, and kept the baby, who's their son (what's his name now, I can't remember either?).  Then after they did all this, Angela took on the name of Mary Alice and they moved to Wisteria Lane to start over.
