How do you feel about it?

I seem to have awesome shopping karma for a little while maybe twice a year - when I find awesome sales on great stuff, random things I try on fit like they've been waiting for me all my life, holes that have existed in my wardrobe seem to fill themselves with things I didn't know I'd been looking for.

The rest of the time, shopping sometimes seems futile, and is made up of online orders being returned in their entirety and things that just. don't. fit. if there's anything worth trying on in the first place.

I'm currently in my first awesome karma streak of the new year, last must have been about 6 months ago.  My husband is out of town for this one, which means I'm going to shop my ass off and collect enough things to get me through until my next streak.

What's your shopping karma like right now?  How is it usually?  Do you have noticeable, 'good karma' streaks that stand out in your mind above average shopping times?

I go in streaks for sure - I've had a great time this month.  I got some spending cash as a gift and have bought some cool designer pieces - never paying more than 20-25% of the original price.  I feel like if been majorly scoring lately!

Oh I love good shopping karma. I am in a rut right now and nothing is looking right or even appealing on the hanger. I'm hoping that when spring hits my rut will be over.

Yeah, same here. As much as I love Winter, I tend to LOVE Spring more. I also seem to be in a rut, all I'm buying is pants/shirts, and I PREFER dresses, but since it's been chilly outside, I wanna keep my legs warm. LOL Spring weather def. LIFTS my spirits. :)

I don't know how much of it is attributable to karma, but there are certainly some great deals to be had out there right now!

instead of taking advantage of every deal I find, I'm trying to be really picky with the incoming.  my closet is overflowing and I have no more room!

I definitely have streaks. I don't know if it's because the styles change a little every couple months, or the season does, but there are times when I cannot stop buying because *everything* is such a perfect fit and something I've looked for for so long - and then other times everything I put on disappoints me.

There have been some AWESOME deals lately. I found some great stuff during revolve's big sale in December, and I cannot stop buying boots this month - I keep finding fantastic pairs for 20-25% of the original price.

Up and down. Good thrift store finds, which is when you know karma is on your side, but not so great in regular stores.

I've also become more picky in my old age, and cranky about prices - "they want HOW much? for THAT?"

I also seem to find the "good stuff" when my husband is out of town. I think it's psychological since I'm not paying attention to how much time I'm spending shopping!
