I ordered them today- I signed up for a notification from shoebuy.com if they came back in stock in my size- and i got an email from them this morning.
 Paid $45 with 15% off coupon ENTERTAINBAG06

however, in the shoebuy.com pic, the bottom if the shoe is white instead of gray......hopefully I will still like them

thanks all

Ooh, good for you! I like the white bottom a little more than the gray. For some reason the white makes them look more like fun casual sneakers whereas the gray bottom reminds me of hiking shoes.

As you can tell, I have absolutely no expertise when it comes to athletic shoes...hiking shoes? Is there even a such thing?

Yes, Virginia, there is such a thing as hiking shoes smile

As a matter of fact, I bought a pair to take on my Peru & Ecuador trip.

its funny you should say that!....ive always been attracted to, and was initally shopping for, "trail running"/"outdoorsy" type sneakers , in addition to a sleeker pair. I just happened to come across the sauconys (i like shoes in grey colorways without any white), otherwise i would have gotten something like these

I probably still will for running around in foul weather.

ps- i like your hiking shoes D! maybe i'm weird for liking "outdoor chic"? lol
