Can I wear Charlotte Beach Pants if I'm pregnant?
Permalink Closed

Sorry to be redundant & I know this is been discussed ad nauseum, but noone answered my question on the last thread so I thought I'd post it again:

Quick question for anyone that has these--I am in my 7th month of pregnancy and my belly is huge, but I still fit into all my pre-pregnancy yoga pants (b/c of the stretchy waist-band).  I am normally a size 4.  Do you guys think I could wear a Large?  Is the waist-band elastic and pretty stretchy?  Except for my belly, my body is the exact same everywhere else (i.e. hips, butt, etc.).  Thanks!

Anyone?

Sorry, you're prob not going to like my answer...

I don't think the waistband stretches much, even tho it is elastic.  This is one of the reasons the pants run so small...

I was able to wear some low waisted non maternity items all the way up through the end, just depends on how much bigger you get.  as you pass your 7th month, maternity clothes with the big ugly full panel ARE more comfortable than wearing low rises.

They might fit *under* a belly, but not over - the stretchy part at the top isn't that stretchy at all, really.

Just what I needed to know, thanks.  I'm going to pass.
